  • ANSI specification S3.19-1974 requires patients undergoing MRI to be provided with noise reduction devices offering a minimum of 29db Noise Reduction Rating (NRR); this item must be used in conjunction with earplugs with a minimum NRR rating of 29 in order to be ANSI compliant
  • Headband is constructed of hard plastic material; contains non-ferrous materials
  • Optional sanitary covers are available; please see "Accessories for this Product" below

Returns require prior written authorization within 30 days of product receipt. Please contact Customer Service and provide a reason for the return request. Does this pair adjust? If not, is this product intended to fit children or adults?
Yes, this item adjusts to fit the width of the wearer's head. It is sized for adults.
Will this block out snoring?
This item provides 12dB of noise attenuation, protecting the patient from the loud sound of the gradient amplifiers in an MRI setting. Unfortunately, we are unable to determine if this item can block out snoring as it has not been tested in that application. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Are these OSHA approved head phones?
This headset is not OSHA approved, but it has been tested to reduce sounds by 12db.
