How to Place an Order:

We offer several options to make ordering simple and easy:

  • Order securely online by adding items to your shopping cart and clicking the Proceed to Check Out button when done or
  • Send your system generated PO or our completed Order Form via email to our Order Processing department: [email protected] or
  • Send your system generated PO or our completed Order Form via Toll Free Fax to our Order Processing department: 800-535-6229.

When your order is confirmed, we'll send you an email that includes all of the order details.

Establishing an Account:

Want to establish a NET 30 invoice account?  Complete and submit our credit application for prompt processing.   To expedite processing your initial order, please include a copy of your PO or Order Form with your credit application.

Item Availability:

Whenever possible, the average lead time of an item is indicated on our website for each product. If you need delivery of an item by a specific date, please contact Customer Service for confirmation of whether your delivery date can be met. We'll recommend the best shipping method to meet your delivery needs.

International Shipping:

Our ability to ship internationally is limited by various factors. Please contact Customer Service using our contact form with detailed information about the products, quantities and ship to location desired. We will advise if the request is feasible.

Returns:

Return policies vary by manufacturer and item. Item return policies are listed on each product detail page. Please visit the product page for the detailed description and return policy information for any product you may be ordering. If you have questions about a return policy, please contact Customer Service using our contact form, and we'll be happy to provide clarification or make an effort to obtain additional information from the manufacturer.

Short Shipment/Loss/Damage:

Short shipments must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Please report all short shipment details using our contact form.  If an item is lost or damaged in transit, shipping carriers require detailed information to process a claim and replacement. Please contact Customer Service using our contact form to report any short shipment or damage within 48 hours of receipt.

Sales Tax:

Universal Medical currently collects sales tax on all transactions that ship within Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin. 

If your facility is tax exempt, please provide your tax exemption certificate to Customer Service using our contact form. Once we receive and review your certificate, we will mark your account as tax exempt, allowing you to place orders without the assessment of sales tax.

From time to time, we email coupon codes and other promotions to our mailing list subscribers. It's easy to join our list — just use the handy form that's near the bottom of every page on our site.
