Limited Warranty Period: Globe Scientific Inc. ("Globe") hereby warrants its benchtop equipment (the "Product") to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years from the original purchase date. This Limited Warranty applies only to the original end user (the "User") of the Product and cannot be assigned or transferred. Excluded from this Limited Warranty is any damage caused during the shipment, transport or handling of the Product following its initial receipt by the User; the replacement of wearing parts and any damage caused by (a) accident, fire, flood, wind, lightning or similar disaster; (b) unauthorized modifications including writing on or defacing the Product, or if the Product's serial number has been altered, effaced or removed; (c) improper maintenance, misuse, abuse or negligence in the operation or maintenance of the Product, including without limitation, unsafe operation, operation by untrained personnel and failure to perform routine maintenance or calibration; (d) maintenance or alteration of the Product by persons or service centers not authorized by Globe.
