Newman Medical simpleABI Advanced Automated Cuff-Link System - Multi-Level + Exercise
Product Description
The Newman Medical simpleABI Advanced Automated Cuff-Link System - Multi-Level + Exercise is an advanced solution designed for clinics that need efficient and reliable PAD testing. It supports dual testing modes, enabling both the Doppler-free rapid ABI-Q exam for quick screenings by any staff member and in-depth Doppler-based ABI and TBI exams for comprehensive diagnostics.
Features:
- Empowers healthcare providers to identify Peripheral Artery Disease (P.A.D.) in its early stages
- Complete ABI assessment capabilities: single-level, segmental, exercise, and stress exams
- Detailed PPG and toe waveforms for precise vascular evaluation
- Utilize the ABI-Q rapid exam – a Doppler-free assessment that any supporting staff member can easily perform, perfect for patients with calcified arteries
- Automated cuff selection and inflation/deflation minimize user error
- Portable height-adjustable stand roll-stand design moves easily between exam rooms with minimal assembly
- Backup virtual remote guarantees uninterrupted operation
- DICOM compatibility ensures seamless integration with your medical imaging systems
- It features powerful yet easy-to-use software that sets it apart from other systems, saving you time and streamlining your workflow. Fully integrated into the system, the software requires no separate data downloads
- Software Features:
- Automatic index calculations, avoiding potential errors
- Automatically stores each exam with a time stamp
- Your logo and contact information can be shown on the report
- Your physicians, operators, and interpreters can be on drop-down, editable menus
- Drop-down ICD-10 codes
- Suggested CPT codes and interpretation of results are shown
- Multiple and selectable formats to store the reports: PDF, TIFF, CSV, BMP, JPG
- DICOM software is available as an option
- Software Features:
- simpleABI-600CL software offers a full range of tests and reports for evaluating blood flow in the lower limbs and supports proper coding and reimbursement. The tests that can be done include:
- Single-Level Exams - Used to diagnose obstruction. Performed using Doppler and meets equipment requirements for CPT code 93922
- ABI-Q (Quick PVR Assessment) - A PVR-based 1-2 minute exam to quickly assess the patient for the presence/absence of PAD
- ABI (Ankle Brachial Index) - With dual ankle Doppler pressures and PVR waveforms. This is the fundamental PAD exam
- ABI with Toe (Ankle Brachial Index + Toe or TBI) - With dual ankle Doppler pressures and PVR waveforms. PPG or Doppler can be used on toes. Typically used if the patient has calcified vessels the ABI cannot be obtained
- Segmental Exams - Multi-level exams are used to determine the level of obstruction. Meets equipment requirements for CPT code 93923
- Three cuff Segmental - With dual ankle Doppler pressures and PVR waveforms. Ankle, calf, above knee. This is the fundamental PAD exam.
- Three cuff with Toe - With dual ankle Doppler pressures and PVR waveforms. PPG or Doppler can be used on toes. Typically used if the patient has calcified vessels the ABI cannot be obtained
- Four cuff - With dual ankle Doppler pressures and PVR waveforms. Adds high thigh location to the 3-cuff exam
- Four Cuff with Toe - With dual ankle Doppler pressures and PVR waveforms. PPG or Doppler can be used on toes
- Modern, efficient Segmental Exams - Multi-level exams done with PVR. These tests are much faster, easier on the patient, provide the information needed to determine the level of occlusion, and meet CPT requirements
- ABI Exercise Exams – Vascular exercise exams. Useful for pseudo-claudication if the patient has PAD symptoms but the resting ABI is normal or questionable
- ABI with Exercise – Single level exam performed pre and post-exercise. Can be done with provocative maneuvers or a treadmill protocol. Meets requirements for CPT code 93923
- ABI Stress with Treadmill – Single level exam performed pre and post-exercise. When used with the specified treadmill protocol meets equipment requirements for CPT code 93924
- Single-Level Exams - Used to diagnose obstruction. Performed using Doppler and meets equipment requirements for CPT code 93922
