Blood, urine, and other fluids/contaminants can easily penetrate CT table tops. Clean up is time consuming, and often leaves residue on the cushion and machine, resulting in component failures & unscheduled down time. The CT Slicker® reduces these problems by holding contaminants on the table top, or shunting them to the floor. The Slicker's side flaps help to protect CT table rails from stretcher scrapes and dings. All Slickers attach to the table using high grade hook and loop closures for long wear and reliability.
The slickers are latex free and the vinyl materials meet ISO 10993 biocompatibility requirements. All of our products also meet applicable NFPA flammability standards. While we recommend using CDC approved bleach mixtures for disinfecting the Slicker, any standard cleaning and disinfection agent may be used.
Slicker Covers are a vinyl cover made to fit over the original equipment pad that came with your table. Each slicker is designed to fit specific CT tables. If you are using a second market pad, the fit may vary.

Instructions
Manufacturer's cleaning instructions:
Slicker covers and cushions are not sterile when shipped. A thorough cleaning with a bleach / water solution is recommended by the center for disease control before each use. Some germicide solutions may cause discoloration of the cover, and create a sticky film. Adhesive remover or nail polish remover will clean off tape residue easily without harming the cover.
If the cover is damaged by puncture or small cuts, temporary repairs may be made by cleaning the area with acetone and applying a patch using a high quality crystal clear packing tape until you can procure a replacement. These repairs should never be used as a permanent solution.
Replacement needs of the cover/cushion is dependent on patient traffic, abuse (back boards, trauma use), and age. In normal use, a replacement cycle of 1 year is recommended.
Product warranty:
90 days free from manufacturing defects.
