The advanced IV training arm is designed for practicing venipuncture, IV insertion, blood draws, and injection techniques.

The Life/form Advanced Venipuncture and Injection Arm provides complete venous access for training in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration. The trainer features an extensive 8-line vascular system, allowing students to practice venipuncture at both primary and secondary venous access locations, including starting IVs and introducing over-the-needle IV catheters.

Soft, flexible fingers and wrist movement help learners develop proper positioning and manipulation skills during procedures. The replaceable skin rolls as veins are palpated, and a discernible “pop” sensation is felt when entering the vein to help reinforce proper venipuncture technique.

Intramuscular injections can be performed in the deltoid muscle, enhanced by soft lifelike skin and natural bony landmarks that assist with correct site identification. Intradermal injection sites in the upper arm allow learners to practice injection technique and produce realistic skin welts when using distilled water.
