Our Parker Laboratories Aquaflex Ultrasound Gel Pad is a disposable 2cm x 9cm ultrasound standoff for difficult-to-visualize and near-field areas or when gels alone won't do. Transmits ultrasound energy more efficiently than glycerin, water, or mineral oil. Solid, yet it contours to irregular surfaces such as bony prominences and small joints for accurate transmission. Disposable gel pad eliminates the risk of cross-contamination in diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures. Cushions sensitive areas for comfortable scanning and requires no gel except in prolonged procedures. Easy to use and requires only gentle, even pressure.  The gel pad is aqueous to help prevent staining. Transducer safe and will not harm transducer lenses. Hypoallergenic and bacteriostatic for patient safety and to promote a safer healthcare environment.
