If I use the MaryAide for transferring, would I have to lift the patient back up just to take it off? I'm thinking about situations where my patient doesn't want it on after I complete the transfer from the bed to the wheelchair or another chair or where my patient is unable to assist.
This sling has hook and loop (Velcro-like) closures on both sides. This allows the sides to be take apart after the transfer has taken place to allow the caregiver to remove the sling without lifting the patient again.
