  • Made from a durable nylon fabric, the Transfer Gurney comes with a plastic insert
  • The plastic insert provides strength and rigidity which aids in sliding the gurney in position and protects the patient when transferring the patient from a soft to hard surface
  • The integrated hand grips help to evenly distribute weight over the gurney, hence reducing caregiver back strain during the moving process

Recommended Cleaning Instructions: Remove plastic insert prior to cleaning. Machine wash with mild detergent and air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach.

Warranty: This product has a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Do you sell cloth sheet types w/holes used as handles on side of sheet, i. e. bed roller sheets? Cloth might be softer than plastic.

This item is made of a nylon fabric, we do not offer similar products made of any other fabric. This particular unit would be considered the softest in this category as compared to he plastic and wood options.

My dad is 5' 4" and 140 pounds, and he can't get back far enough when sitting in chairs. Would the smaller size be sufficient for him?

This item is primarily designed for sliding patients that are supine, as opposed to seated. The Small Unit measures 39"L x 16"W and has 4 handles. Depending on the size and position of the chair, this may be sufficient for your needs.

Will the small fit a twin size hospital bed.

The small is generally used for pediatrics. The dimensions are 39"L x 16"W x 0.25" Thick. You can compare the measurements to that of the twin size bed.
