Natural cast and functional, this flexibly-articulated spine consists of the five lumbar vertebrae and the sacrum along with the spinal cord and paired spinal nerves which are molded of resilient plastic.
A section of the sacrum is detachable to show the branching cauda equina.
The invertebral disc between L4 and L5 is herniated.
Mounted on a hardwood base.

Does the above model show the conus at T12-l1 with the cauda equine below this level. Some of your models seem to show a solid cord down to the lumbosacral junction.
Per the manufacturer: The conus medullaris and cauda equina on this model split at L5/S1 rather than T12/L1. We are unaware of a model with nerves splitting off L1 due to breakage and tearing. Although, some manufacturers show a textured spinal cord to demonstrate that the cord has terminated.
