Is this phantom disposable after a few days or can it last for some months, practicing but keeping it in its box the days of not practice? How long can someone use it before its desiccation?

The desiccation can happen quickly if the phantom is left out. The manufacturer has advised that if the phantom is stored in a sealed container it can last months. They suggest soaking the phantom in water to rehydrate. The amount of needle sticks this phantom will allow is dependent on the needle size and the technique being used. Typically, it is 10 sticks per lesion, so around 100 sticks to each phantom.
