The guideline for radiation protection of the fetal area is to offer twice the standard protection. The standard protection for dental apparel is 0.3 mm lead equivalence. The apron you are inquiring about is 0.5 mm lead equivalence. We do offer a pregnancy apron that is used in medical radiation procedures that offers 1.0 mm lead equivalence.
