Are the grids and lines erasable? Can I order a specific layout? Does this product need to be plugged into a wall outlet?

This unit has horizontal blue lines that cannot be removed from the board. You can customize your layout by using chart tape of various colors and widths. Our planner boards do not have a power supply and do not need to be plugged into a wall outlet.
