  • MOPS (Morpholinopropanesulfonic) is a zwitterionic buffer ideally suited for RNA electrophoresis in agarose gels. The 6.5 – 7.9 buffering range works exceptionally well in formaldehyde gels at a concentration of 20 nM. DEPC is added to ensure the buffer is nuclease contamination free.
  • Buffer powder containing 4-Morpholinepropanesulfonic acid.
  • To Produce 1X MOPS Solution (0.2M): Simply Add 4.18gm of MOPS to 1L of Sterilized Water.
  • To Produce 10X MOPS Solution (0.2M): Simply Add 41.8gm of MOPS to 1L of Sterilized Water.
