Universal Medical introduces the MedVac Vacuum Immobilization System. Designed to limit patient movement during extremity MRI scans, air is removed from the vacuum bag creating a splint to comfortably hold the patient in the proper position for the duration of the exam. The correctly positioned chambered beads allow for quick application. The very thin design fits most coils. Vacuum valve closes automatically after air has been evacuated. Durable and easy to clean. Electric pump can be easily installed in an adjoining room. Has a soft comfortable feel on patient skin. Excellent insulation properties keep infants warm. Standard color is blue.
