1750 The Understanding CNS chart describes the components of the central nervous system, or CNS. The brain is represented through several images, including a main view showing the cerebrum, cerebellum and part of the spinal cord, and smaller views of the ventricles and the functional areas of the brain. The cranial nerves and spinal structure are shown through other images. Cellular views include the neuron and synaptic cleft, describing the action of neurotransmitters. Neurological disorders, such as Parkinsons and depression are described.
