THE LITTLE PRISM CHARACTERISTICS:1.Has two gradients: one of 37', for regular filtration; the other of 52', for steeper filtration. When placed on the collimator, the gradient is 4 times less on the film . Velcro is fixed to both extremities. 2. Prepare the collimator by placing the self adhesive Velcro around the window. If a track is present, use one or two supplied plastic spacer(s) nearby to raise the Velcro at the level of the track. 3. The little prism may then be fixed in any position. 4. It may also be placed next to the patient. ABDOMEN, HORIZONTAL BEAM For sagging abdomen only. Filter no more than 5 to 12 cm on the patient.
