Anesthesia screens are used to block the anesthesia field from the patient’s line of sight, eliminating the patient anxiety and distraction that can come with viewing the anesthesiologist’s movements. Surgery anesthesia screens are also intended to separate the anesthesia field from the surgical site to reduce the risk of contamination. The adjustable frame is used to accommodate a sheet that can be suspended anywhere along the length of the patient’s body. Anesthesia screens are also sometimes used as supporting mechanisms for light sources and surgical retractors.
Universal Medical offers several medical anesthesia screens, both with and without wings. Constructed of hard-wearing stainless steel, the anesthesiologist screens can be attached quickly, easily, and securely to the operating table. The winged model can be folded flat for storage, and adjusts vertically from 22” to 30”. Its drape support wings are adjustable and lock into place with a simple twist of the wrist.
Just some of the high-performance features of our anesthesiology screens:
  • Sleek, durable stainless steel construction stands up to years of use with minimal wear
  • Easily cleaned surgery anesthesia screen surfaces promote a hygienic surgical environment
  • Telescoping poles allow for easy vertical screen adjustments and rotate horizontally for optimal access to the patient
  • Some medical anesthesia screens fold flat for easy, compact storage when not in use
