The Noise Guard Headset provides a full 29db of noise attenuation, protecting the patient from the loud sound of the gradient amplifiers. The Noise Guard Headset is patented by Newmatic Sound Systems, and is compatible with most other manufacturer’s sound systems. Adapters are available for noncompatible systems. The large profile of this headset does not allow it to fit in some head coils.
