The Non-Headset is designed for the tightest of head coils, providing music and communication to the patient during their scan without the use of an actual headset.
ANSI specification S3.19-1974 requires patients undergoing MRI to be provided with noise reduction devices offering a minimum of 29db Noise Reduction Rating (NRR)
The NHS is not intended or rated to reduce noise, and therefore must be used in conjunction with earplugs with a minimum NRR rating of 29 in order to be ANSI compliant
Two 1" foam ear muffs which can be positioned right up to the patient's ear in the head coil compressing down to 0.5" but has no headband allowing use in almost any situation
Includes male connector and 4 feet of tubing (tubing diameter is 11mm x 6mm)
