The VELCRO® Brand hook-and-loop closure delivers strong and secure restraint for a wide range of needs, from securing a patient to temporarily attaching one device to another. Since it's disposable and residue-free, it significantly reduces the risk of causing a Hospital Acquired Infection (HAI) through cross-patient contamination. While one-piece wraparound restraints may offer lower initial cost, our disposable restraint is an ideal choice where infection control is critical, such as operating room surgical procedures. It's radiolucent, so it will not obscure imaging during interventional radiology procedures.
