RadScan Angio/Cardiac and Vascular Slickers function much the same as CT Slickers, although table maintenance is not as much of a problem. Good cleaning and disinfection characteristics are just as important for these tables. The Angio/Cardiac Slicker series of covers is built using the same basic materials as the CT Slicker - custom formulated clear micromatte PVC, nylon thread and velcro. The Slicker cover's resistance to fluid contaminants like contrast can significantly increase the useful life of the expensive table cushions on these tables. The cushion is essentially encapsulated to protect it. Short flaps extend from the body of the cover over the table rails to retain fluids on the table or shunt them to the floor for clean up. Contaminant build ups are reduced or eliminated in hard to clean areas. Clean up is faster and more thorough, and enhances infection control for patients and staff. Angio/Cardiac cover sets are currently available to fit the GE Omega III 118" and the Omega IV 132" tables. In addition, Vascular Slicker sets are available for the Tilt C Neuro and Standard model tables. Please refer to the part list on the next page to find your table model, part number, and prices. Fluids and contaminants either remain on the cover or are shunted directly to the floor by the Slicker's flap system for quicker, more thorough clean up and disinfection.
