The BRAND Transferpette® electronic is an ergonomic, intuitive electronic pipette for use in most laboratory applications. It is available in five volume ranges for reliable dispensing of volumes from 0.5µL to 5mL.

The soft-touch pipetting key, adjustable finger-rest, light weight and innovative tip cone minimize static strain and operational forces, reducing the risk of repetitive stress injuries (RSI). This is the first electronic pipette to be awarded the "Ergonomics Approved" and "User-Friendly" certification from the prestigious T_V testing service, an OSHA-accredited testing laboratory.

Five Operating Modes Simplify Most Pipetting Applications Choose from five convenient operating modes that are simple to set and simple to use: standard pipetting, sample mixing, reverse pipetting, step dispensing, and gel loading. Large, clear LCD screen with clear operational symbols and words makes settings obvious. Step easily between modes without complicated programming. Easily removable autoclavable shaft protects sterile operations.

Reduces Imprecision and Inaccuracy The microprocessor controlled Transferpette electronic automates piston movement to greatly reduce the imprecision and inaccuracy caused by operator inconsistency. Speed controls let you work as fast as you like, or as slowly and carefully as you need. Distinctive "gel mode" discharges the pipette very slowly into electrophoresis gels, and even tracks dispensed volume as you dispense!

Make Calibration Adjustments in Seconds These pipettes are equipped with BRAND's innovative Easy Calibration™ system that reduces the need for off-site calibration and simplifies conformity with ISO/GLP guidelines. Rechargeable battery powers over 4000 pipetting cycles with each charge, and even includes a battery "refresh" function that extends the battery life! Unique tip cone (patent pending) adapts to universal tips from nearly all manufacturers, so you're not locked into a single tip supplier.

Innovative Gel Mode for Electrophoresis The distinctive "gel" mode on the Transferpette electronic offers unique advantages to those loading electrophoresis gels. When operating in "gel" mode, liquids are dispensed at an extra-slow speed to avoid disrupting gels, and the volume being dispensed is displayed during dispensing. Whatever the set volume, if you release the pipetting key before all fliuid is dispensed, the pipette indicates the actual volume dispensed.

Certified Ergonomic The T_V evaluation of the Transferpetteelectronic included independent user evaluations of the instruments' features, ease of use and documentation in laboratories never revealed to BRAND GMBH, the developer and manufacturer of the Transferpetteelectronic. The pipette was certified "Ergonomics Approved" and "User-Friendly" for its comfort and intuitive operations. Thus, you can rely on these T_V certifications as reflecting a truly independent evaluation of the pipette.

Operating Limits and Exclusions Liquids unsuitable for use with the Transferpette electronic include, but are not limited to, those with: high vapor pressure or high viscosity, reagents that attack PP, temperature of instrument and reagent must be between 15° and 104°F (59° and 40°C).

Instructions

Seller warrants that its Products are free from defects in materials and workmanship as set forth in applicable operating instructions at the date of shipment to the original Buyer and will conform to the Contract specifications or such other specifications which constitute technical improvements to the Product.* The exclusive remedy of the Buyer in the event of a breach of the foregoing warranty is replacement or repair (at Seller's option) of any defective Product. No goods shall be returned to Seller for repair or replacement pursuant to this warranty without prior written approval and accompanied by a completed health and safety declaration (as specified in Paragraph 7). All cleaning, decontamination, and shipping costs shall be the sole responsibility of the Buyer together with any damage to the goods that might occur in transit to or from Seller. Under no circumstances does Seller's responsibility or warranty extend to Products other than those manufactured or distributed by Seller; nor does Seller's liability extend to any Products, articles or parts which are furnished by Buyer or obtained from other manufacturers or suppliers at Buyer's request and/or in accordance with Buyer's specifications. In the event that Seller is unwilling or unable to repair or replace any defective or nonconforming Product due to change in technical standards, technical modifications, unavailability of material or parts, or any other reason, Buyer shall be entitled to a return of the purchase price paid for such Product as its sole and exclusive remedy. Seller assumes no responsibility for the effective performance of any specific scientific application relying on Products supplied under this Contract beyond published Product specifications at the time of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for conformance with local building codes as they may apply in the installation of Products supplied by the Seller. Seller assumes no responsibility whatsoever for the accuracy of designs, specifications or materials furnished or specified by Buyer.

Returns

No return will be accepted by the seller for any reason without prior written authorization within 30 days of product shipment date. Returns will be accepted only if products are in new, unused, resalable condition in the original packaging, and accompanied by a Health and Safety Declaration as regards potential contamination with hazardous materials due to customer use of the product. The manufacturer reserves the right to assess a minimum 25 percent restocking fee at their discretion. All shipping charges remain payable. This manufacturer assesses order cancellation fees if a submitted order is cancelled prior to shipment.
